Excavation

Lucas has been asking us to take him to a place where dinosaur bones are found.  He really wants to find bones in the ground.  We have not had a chance to take a road trip to fulfill his dream (almost 8 months now!) of being a dino hunter.  When I saw excavation kits in a tourist souvenir store I grabbed them.  Lucas was THRILLED.  He spent all morning carefully digging his dinosaur bones out of the "sandstone".  Really it was plaster, but I told him it was sandstone to make it more authentic.  He was SOOOOO excited to be a real paleontologist.  Nick lost interest early on and Lucas excavated Nick's Dino too.
