"Learning"

My 4 year old - not yet 4 ½ year old - is more technologically knowledgeable than I am. 

My child knows how to use a Smart Board. 

I thought I'd at least be ahead of him for a couple more years.  However, his preschool has decided to provide all the rugrats with technology in the name of "learning" and other bullshit.  :-)  kidding.

In the process of providing my child with these supposedly valuable experiences the preschool has reduced my meager (and formerly superior) ability to switch from "TV MODE" to "DVD MODE" on our TV useless - because Lucas is now leaps and bounds ahead of me.  His little fingers fly around the remote and presto.  We are downloading a movie from Netflix.
