Squirt Guns

The boys got squirt guns recently. They were party favors from a birthday party that they were too sick to attend - so I attended and brought them home the loot.

They love their squirt guns and are spraying everything they can get away with. Including each other.

Nick is now sick with a possible sinus infection and ear infections. And this kid thinks nothing of throwing out a 103+ fever just for a little ear infection. Every time he gets sick he doesn't just get a little fever he gets a big fever. Ever since he had the 105.5 fever he just gets fevers so fast and high. Hopefully he feels better soon. AJ is out of town, this time to Phoenix for training. Soon I will have a profanity laced post about the bastards at the FDA who took cough medicine away from young children.

Lucas is going through the cutest phase lately. Right before we turn the lights off for bed he will say things like "Mom, will you keep an eye on me tonight?" He wants me to keep an eye on him while he sleeps. So cute. And his imagination is taking off too. He builds things with legos and each piece has a purpose. For example, he built a beach balloon factory and certain parts of the factory were for sucking in people's hair and other parts were for holding the animals. It didn't make any sense but it doesn't need to - it makes sense in his mind so we just rolled with it. He is so sweet. I'm going to try to write down all the cute things he's been saying so I won't forget.

  1. Ha! The expression on sweet Lucas' face is a tough guy "Make my day, punk" look. Hoping Nick gets done with the sick soon.

  2. writing things down is a good idea. and in a perfect Martha Stewart world we would all have cute little notebooks to write them in.
